  • This was my second visit and I still learnt so much about the local culture and traditions. Edgar the guide was so welcoming and informative, I highly recommend adding this centre to your visit.

  • We visited the cultural centre on a quiet Saturday morning. We opted for the guide/sand drawing option (VT1500 per head) and it was well worth it. Edgar was our guide, and you can tell that he loves his country and culture. He did two sand drawings for us, one of men making masks and another of a kastom heart. He also played us a couple of songs on the bamboo flute, one about a rat finding kava, and a love song. Lastly, he played us the Vanuatu and Australian national anthems on another bamboo instrument, which you play by shaking. Then Edgar showed us around the museum, telling us more about ni-Vanuatu culture and customs. It was fascinating! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the museum and Edgar's stories and insights.
  • Fantastic place. Makes sure you get a chance to see Edgar do sand drawings and listen to his haunting music with the indigenous flute.
