Well worth a visit. The grounds are pleasant and the view across the bay with the fish traps and the local houses on the opposite bank make it easy on the eye. The gallery itself is relatively small but the stunning art depicting the islands of Vanuatu is well worth the 200 vatu donation. Just these art works are a reason to visit. There is an artist in residence who is actually in residence on site and their work is highlighted. Half the gallery is devoted to a changing collection of art work from Island artists, some traditional and some contemporary and some deeply disturbing that evokes the early history of the ni Vanuatu.
