Market Hall Museum, Warwick, Warwick

Was disappointed some time ago that the wonderful & important Anglo Saxon collection Had been largely removed from display & a few items added to a far less interesting Victorian era cabinet . I curtailed my frequent visits because of this & at the loss of the old but informative & imagination - tweaking dioramas that were in chronological sequence. A great shame . The magic of the museum has gone for me . It`s still a good museum but I used to think it was the best of the many I have been to. Sad that the Anglo Saxon period has been skimmed over & a more random display added. Hopefully the future will see the Archaeology of such an important era returned to it`s rightful place . The Staff are brilliant & hard working , as ever.
