Come to Westonbirt Arboretum for its internationally renowned collection of trees. The venue has labeled nearly 15,000 individual trees covering some 3,000 types. Walk along a self-guided trail to see species such as maple, magnolia, white beam, and oak. Keep an eye out for rare varieties such as the Brazilian pine, dawn redwood, and Patagonian cypress. The 240 hectares (600 acres) of land host various types of birds, so bring your binoculars if you enjoy bird-watching. You can visit the arboretum any time of year: colorful flowers and blossoms show themselves in spring, leaves are most plentiful in summer, a kaleidoscope of colors comes out in autumn, and conifers stand out in winter. If you have difficulty exploring the venue on foot, inquire about borrowing one of the available electric scooters. What a fantastic place to visit for all of the family. A couple of nice places to eat and drink and torts too, all nice and clean. It is wheelchair friendly as well as mobility scooters. Wonderful, wonderful, trees, everywhere. Just beautiful. Well worth a visit at different times of the year, and don't forget your camera.

Wonderful place and national treasure. Any season is a rewarding experience. Pleased to see huge improvements to the visitor experience since my last visit some years ago. Car park and entrance all new and the cafe considerably improved. Walking around the signage with maps showing your exact location and clear directions for whatever walk you wished were excellent. Paths in good condition and the Treetop walk brilliant. Some areas were off limits too protect them which was understandable and very necessary. No problem as still managed a six mile walk of shear delight.
