Once a place for only the wealthy to appreciate, Leamington Spa's Jephson Gardens sits near the center of town and is a local favorite. Existing since 1834, this park extends for 5.9 hectares (14.6 acres), providing plenty of space for you to stroll among the flower displays. Take in the park's tranquility while relaxing in the Aviary Cafe, located in a restored tea pavilion. Feed the ducks on the lake or rent a boat and explore the neighboring River Leam. Be sure to see the "Glasshouse," a multi-temperature zone growing different plant species, and the stone sculptures within. This is a very well kept park with gorgeous floral display s that smell beautiful. Their is a sensory garden their for the children and of course ducks to feed. You will find spotted around fantastic sculptures made out of trees they have had to fell. Children will adore seeing these. The squirrels are extremely tame and enjoy taking peanuts out of your hands, they are very sweet. Dogs have to be kept on lead which is totally fine and understandable. Their are bins around for your dogs little parcels to be deposited in. If you enjoy boating there are hire boats for the family and also a very nice teashop for refreshments. Not forgetting ice cream their is a ice-cream van outside the entrance opposite the Cafe. Toilets are clean and modern. All in all a lovely place to visit with the family especially with this beautiful weather.

It is an oasis of peace and calm in a well maintained and lovely park. Whilst Joan, my lovely wife does a walking tour of the park which takes her one hour, I sit on a bench by the ponds, observing the Canadian geese performing their various machinations whilst I sip on a coffee from the flask we bring with us. It is usually an bi/weekly treat, offering us clean, fresh air and a delightfully restful sojourn.
