Dudley Zoo and Castle offers an extraordinary combination of an important historical site and a collection of wildlife exhibits. The grounds of the ruined 11th-century castle contain the zoo, and your ticket grants you admission to both. At the former, read interpretive displays to learn the castle's history and watch a medieval demonstration by a reenactment group. In the latter, view hundreds of animals such as lions, tigers, bears, snow leopards, sea lions, lemurs, tropical birds, amphibians, and reptiles. Opt for a close-encounter experience to touch or feed one of the zoo's residents, or join an arachnophobia workshop to overcome your fear of spiders. Buy your tickets online to avoid waiting in line at the entrance. Make Dudley Zoo and Castle a part of your Dudley vacation plans using our Dudley online trip itinerary builder.

Being disabled in a power chair it would have been better if the signs for getting around were posted correctly after going down a steep hill and getting to the point where there was steps to go down so had to go all the way back to where I started and then find another route to the destination I needed this was just one off the times I came upon this problem. Also better control over the dinning arrangements instead of a free for all people pushing and know keeping distance in a confided area apart from that I did enjoy the zoo and would recommend people to visit.

Great place for the day. It's very hilly though. The castle at the top is a lovely place to picnic. Tons of history with great photos dotted throughout of the zoo over the ages allowing visitors to reminisce. There's a huge variety of animals & the keepers are really engaging & helpful. Plenty of interaction for younger visitors as well.
