Home to over 260 different animal species, Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens stands as the most diverse privately owned zoo in the UK. Here you can explore 65 hectares (160 acres) of exhibits. The aviary houses include a Humboldt penguin enclosure and the Tropical House, containing lush vegetation, colorful birds, and free-roaming sloths. Head through Woodland Walk to see South American species, such as the giant anteater and Brazilian tapir. In other exhibits, spot Asiatic lions, white rhinoceroses, zebras, and giraffes. As you make your way around the premises, take time to admire the many exotic plantings in the various gardens. Make sure you also leave time to ride the narrow-gauge railway, which is just under 1.6 km (1 mi) and passes California redwood trees and giant rhubarbs. Book your zoo admission ticket online to avoid waiting in line at the entrance. Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens reviews
It's a lovely, nice looked after place but it felt like being in the zoo. I think I was expecting a little bit more space for animals.

We visited for my daughter's birthday and so pleased we did. By far the best day out of it's kind. It was so lovely to see all the animals, there is plenty to see and up close. There is a great play area full of things to do for all ages, my daughter loved it. On the day we visited the weather was great with a few showers but warm and warm when the showers stopped meaning it didn't spoil the day. In good weather or at least dry this was a full day of exploring the park which I love. The price for three of us was really good. There isn't anywhere I have visited that I can truly say is a full day out but this is. Definitely worth a visit and I will be returning if I am every in the area again plus will recommend to others. Great for families as well as adults only.
I've not been here for the last 4 years. This time round, a wonderful day was spent with my family. The park is well signposted, and going to each attraction was easy. All the animals are clearly well cared for, and the staff involved were outstanding. The cafe is also a worthy visit and the standards of service and food quality appears much better than previous experiences. Certainly one of the best wildlife parks I've been to. Highly recommended.
