Discover exotic and rare birds as you explore Birdland, set in 4 hectares (9 acres) of gardens and woodland. Flamingos, pelicans, cranes, storks, cassowary, and waterfowl live in the riverside habitat with parrots, owls, pheasants, hornbills, touracos, and many more inhabiting over 50 aviaries. Warm up by visiting the temperate and desert houses, which are home to birds who enjoy hotter and drier conditions. Stretch your legs by exploring Marshmouth Nature reserve, a secluded 1 hectare (2.5 acre) trail through marshland, ponds, meadow, and copse with views over the River Windrush. Check the website beforehand for the shedule of bird feedings and “meet the keeper” sessions. To plan Bourton-on-the-Water vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

Visited with the kids during the mayday bank holiday. Plenty to keep them occupied and they particularly enjoyed the interactive sessions with the tortoises and penguins. Easy to find with parking next door, but cheaper options nearby including the school. Park was easy to navigate but a little pricey. Lots of space with benches to eat and a kids playground to burn them out.

We visited yesterday (25.06.21) for three hours. We are a family of four, and thought the whole attraction was superb. The number and variety of birds was impressive. The additional inclusion of the dinosaur section was an added bonus. Its been very well laid out within the landscape setting. We had a great time and would return again.
