Turin — 8 nights

City of Magic
A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Museum-lovers will get to explore Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Basilica di Superga. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Forte di Bard (in Bard), Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino) and Orta San Giulio (Lake Orta & San Giulio Island). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama), take in the exciting artwork at Galleria Sabauda, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Grinzane Cavour, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.
