A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.

Venture out of the city with trips to River Rafting & Tubing (in Morgex), Orta San Giulio (Lake Orta & San Giulio Island) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, identify plant and animal life at Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.
