Turin — 7 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Family-friendly places like Museo Egizio and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone will thrill your kids. Popular historic sites such as Basilica di Superga and Palazzo Reale Di Torino are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale), Safari Park (in Pombia) and Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santuario della Consolata, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and catch a live event at Juventus Stadium.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daytime highs in Turin are 59°F, while nighttime lows are 47°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
