Turin — 7 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Museo Egizio and Zoom Torino. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino), Safari Park (in Pombia) and Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, look for all kinds of wild species at Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, and don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 28°C in August, and nighttime lows around 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
