Turin — 7 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Museo Egizio and Piazza San Carlo. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco), Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, identify plant and animal life at Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, and admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 28°C in August, and nighttime lows around 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
