Turin — 7 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore and learn at Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli and Armeria Reale. Explore hidden gems such as Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso and YES Academy. Venture out of the city with trips to Castel Savoia (in Gressoney Saint Jean), Santuario della Nativita di Maria (in Vicoforte) and Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour). There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello Reale di Sarre, get engrossed in the history at Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706, hit the slopes at Via Lattea, and get to know the fascinating history of Aosta Old Town.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 6°C in January, and nighttime lows around 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
