Turin — 7 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio), Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). There's much more to do: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, and see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

To find other places to visit, traveler tips, more things to do, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin visit planner.

If you are flying in from Denmark, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July in Turin, expect temperatures between 30°C during the day and 21°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
