Milan — 3 nights

Fashion Capital of World

In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Venture out of the city with trips to Turin (Museo Egizio, Museo Nazionale del Cinema, &more). There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Milano, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Santa Tecla, make a trip to Dialogo nel Buio, and explore the historical opulence of Castello Sforzesco.

For maps, traveler tips, photos, and more tourist information, read our Milan travel planning app.

If you are flying in from Qatar, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Milano Linate Airport and Milan Bergamo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 10°C in February, and nighttime lows around 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a train to Florence.

Birthplace of the Italian Renaissance

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.

The adventure continues: explore the world behind art at Florence Academy of Fine Arts, ponder the world of politics at Palazzo Vecchio, appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza del Duomo, and steep yourself in history at Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
