Rome of the Alps

In the Aosta Valley bordering Switzerland and France, the medieval city of Aosta is famous for its prime skiing conditions and rich cultural history.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Lake Orta, Pila Valle d'Aosta, Skyway Monte Bianco, and other attractions you added. Go for a jaunt from Aosta to Gressoney Saint Jean to see Castel Savoia about 1h 20 min away. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso and admire the landmark architecture of Aosta Old Town.

Turin to Aosta is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or take a train. You'll set off for Turin on the 15th (Fri).

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Church of San Lorenzo. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio, walk around Parco del Valentino, don't miss a visit to Piazza Vittorio Veneto, and admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.

You can drive from Aosta to Turin in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. In December in Turin, expect temperatures between 8°C during the day and 3°C at night. On the 18th (Mon), you're off to home.
