Turin — 6 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do your shopping at Reggia Di Reale and Serravalle Designer Outlet. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Issogne (in Issogne), Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino) and Castello di Fenis (in Fenis). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Santuario della Consolata.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in October, and nighttime lows around 12°C. On the 21st (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
