Turin — 6 nights

City of Magic
A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Museum-lovers will appreciate Armeria Reale and Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706. Get a sense of the local culture at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Ricetto di Candelo. Venture out of the city with trips to Castel Savoia (in Gressoney Saint Jean), Santuario della Nativita di Maria (in Vicoforte) and Monterosa Ski (in Gressoney-la-Trinite). There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello di Issogne, pause for some serene contemplation at Santuario di Oropa, admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio, and see the interesting displays at Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi.
