Turin — 6 nights

City of Magic
A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Museo del Carcere Le Nuove and Chocolate Museum will appeal to museum buffs. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Castello di Issogne and Torgnon. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Fenis (in Fenis), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Aosta (Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, Criptoportico Forense, &more). There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, explore the historical opulence of Castello Reale di Sarre, stop by Azienda Agricola Luca Elex, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.
