Turin — 6 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Santuario di Oropa and Castello Reale di Sarre. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Juventus Museum and Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour), Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte) and Castello di Racconigi (in Racconigi). There's still lots to do: step into the grandiose world of Castello di Issogne, explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense, get engrossed in the history at Armeria Reale, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Sacro Monte.

For more things to do, other places to visit, traveler tips, and other tourist information, read Turin road trip planning website.
