7 days in Colmar Itinerary

Situated along the Alsatian Wine Route, Colmar is renowned for its German and French culture, well-preserved old town, numerous architectural landmarks, and its museums.

Get out of town with these interesting Colmar side-trips: Gerardmer (Observatoire de Merelle & Lac de Gerardmer), Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg (in Orschwiller) and Fraispertuis City (in Jeanmenil). There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at Musée d'Unterlinden, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at La Montagne des Singes, examine the collection at Musee du Jouet, and identify plant and animal life at La Volerie des Aigles.
