Turin — 5 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Head to Galleria Sabauda and Reggia Di Realefor some retail therapy. Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Venture out of the city with trips to Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi), Cantina Fontechiara (in Borgomanero) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, get engrossed in the history at Museum of the Risorgimento, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, and do a tasting at Azienda Agricola Cortino Produttori Dianesi.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In October, daytime highs in Turin are 58°F, while nighttime lows are 51°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Tue) to allow time to travel back home.
