Turin — 5 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Museum of the Risorgimento. Get in touch with nature at Via Lattea and Pila Valle d'Aosta. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Santuario della Nativita di Maria (in Vicoforte), Santuario di Oropa (in Oropa) and Ricetto di Candelo (in Candelo). Next up on the itinerary: take an in-depth tour of Armeria Reale, stop by Quadrilatero Romano, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Verres, and wander the streets of Via Roma.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in April, and nighttime lows around 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
