Turin — 5 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello di Issogne and Castello della Manta. Get some historical perspective at Castello di Serralunga d'Alba and Piazza Carignano. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle), Castello di Fossano (in Fossano) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Il Bucintoro dei Savoia, get engrossed in the history at Musei Reali, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cappella dei Banchieri e dei Mercanti, and admire the masterpieces at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative.

For ratings, photos, more things to do, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin sightseeing planner.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
