Turin — 5 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Get some historical perspective at Basilica di Superga and Sacra di San Michele. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio), Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale) and River Rafting & Tubing (in Morgex). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, take in the dramatic scenery at Lillaz Waterfalls, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, and snap pictures at Ponte Vecchio.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 73°F, and evening lows to 60°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
