City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino), Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, and catch a live event at Juventus Stadium.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 59°F in April, and nighttime lows around 47°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Fri) to allow time to travel back home.
