Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Castel Savoia and Sentiero Panoramico Lungo L'Orrido Di Pre-Saint-Didier. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Castello di Issogne (in Issogne), Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to The Roman Aqueduct-Bridge of Pont d'Ael APERTO SINO AL 1 NOVEMBRE, explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense, admire the verdant scenery at Val Ferret, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

Plan a Turin trip in moments using our itinerary builder.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In August, plan for daily highs up to 28°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
