Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step off the beaten path and head to Azienda Agricola Ca Neuva and Quadrilatero Romano. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Santuario della Nativita di Maria (in Vicoforte), Cantina Fontechiara (in Borgomanero) and Panchina blu di Chris Bangle (in Clavesana). And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Via Roma, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, do a tasting at Azienda Agricola Cortino Produttori Dianesi, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

To find photos, traveler tips, more things to do, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin online holiday maker.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 59°F in April, and nighttime lows around 47°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
