Turin — 4 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Step off the beaten path and head to Azienda Agricola Ca Neuva and Cantina Fontechiara. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte), Panchina blu di Chris Bangle (in Clavesana) and Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni (in Barolo). There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Via Roma, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, and do a tasting at Azienda Agricola Cortino Produttori Dianesi.
To find where to stay, more things to do, maps, and more tourist information, read Turin day trip planning site.
If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, plan for daily highs up to 59°F, and evening lows to 47°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
