Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some historical perspective at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Castel Savoia and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso. Venture out of the city with trips to Santuario di Oropa (in Oropa), Ricetto di Candelo (in Candelo) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne). There's lots more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello Reale di Sarre, kick back and relax at Spiaggia Miami, wander the streets of Via Roma, and do a tasting at Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni.

If you are flying in from Czech Republic, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 24°C in September, and nighttime lows around 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
