A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.

Get some historical perspective at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Castello Reale di Sarre. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Castel Savoia and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso. Venture out of the city with trips to Santuario di Oropa (in Oropa), Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Ricetto di Candelo (in Candelo).
