Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Popular historic sites such as Castello Sarriod de La Tour and Criptoportico Forense are in your itinerary. Visiting Cascate del Rutor and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Museo Forte Bramafam (in Bardonecchia), River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). Next up on the itinerary: explore the world behind art at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative, contemplate the waterfront views at Lago d'Arpy, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Issogne, and take an in-depth tour of Museo del Carcere Le Nuove.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In August, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
