Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some historical perspective at Duomo di Milano and Castello Sforzesco. Kids will enjoy Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Orta San Giulio (Piazza Motta, Lake Orta, &more). There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, shop like a local with Via Roma, and don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo.

For more things to do, maps, photos, and other tourist information, use the Turin trip website.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. September in Turin sees daily highs of 24°C and lows of 17°C at night.
