Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Centro storico and Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Aosta (Criptoportico Forense, Aosta Old Town, &more), Piazza Galimberti (in Cuneo) and Santuario della Nativita di Maria (in Vicoforte). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove, explore the historical opulence of Castello di Issogne, take in the awesome beauty at Colline di Torino, and make a trip to Via Po.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. March in Turin sees daily highs of 50°F and lows of 40°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Tue) so you can travel back home.
