Turin — 4 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Centro storico and Castello e Parco di Masino. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Piazza Galimberti (in Cuneo), Aosta (Criptoportico Forense, Aosta Old Town, &more) and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte). Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Issogne, take in the awesome beauty at Colline di Torino, and pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini.

To see where to stay, other places to visit, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, plan for daily highs up to 50°F, and evening lows to 40°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Tue) so you can travel back home.
