Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Let the collections at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile capture your imagination. Basilica di Superga and Castello di Grinzane Cavour will appeal to history buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Forte di Bard (in Bard), Castello di Fenis (in Fenis) and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, view the masterpieces at Reggia Di Reale, and make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

To find maps, traveler tips, photos, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip website.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in April, and nighttime lows around 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
