Turin — 4 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Let the collections at Museo Egizio and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi capture your imagination. Basilica di Superga and Reggia Di Reale will appeal to history buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio), Forte di Bard (in Bard) and Castello di Fenis (in Fenis). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, do a tasting at Cantina Francesco Borgogno, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.

To find other places to visit, ratings, more things to do, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, plan for daily highs up to 17°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
