Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Egizio and Basilica di Superga. Visit Reggia Di Reale and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone for their historical value. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, shop like a local with Galleria Sabauda, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, and do a tasting at Cantina del Glicine.

To find reviews, more things to do, and other tourist information, use the Turin travel site.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 11°C, while at night they dip to 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
