Turin — 4 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Armeria Reale. Let the collections at Juventus Museum and Museo Egizio capture your imagination. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Issogne (in Issogne), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte). And it doesn't end there: get engrossed in the history at Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santuario di Oropa, examine the collection at Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, and wander the streets of Quadrilatero Romano.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 11°C in March, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
