Turin — 4 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Appreciate the collections at Musei Reali and Reggia Di Reale. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Castello di Issogne and Castello e Parco di Masino. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Castello di Verres (in Verres), Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). And it doesn't end there: step into the grandiose world of Castello della Manta, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Aosta Old Town.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. May in Turin sees daily highs of 20°C and lows of 12°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
