Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Appreciate the collections at Musei Reali and Museo Egizio. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Castello e Parco di Masino and Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre), Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). And it doesn't end there: step into the grandiose world of Castello di Issogne, appreciate the extensive heritage of Aosta Old Town, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. May in Turin sees daily highs of 20°C and lows of 12°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
