Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello di Issogne and Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso. Discover out-of-the-way places like Castello Reale di Sarre and Criptoportico Forense. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre), Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). And it doesn't end there: pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, explore the historical opulence of Castello della Manta, play a few rounds at Tenuta Castello - Golf Club Cerrione, and wander the streets of Via Roma.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 30°C in July, and nighttime lows around 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
