Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get outdoors at Lake Orta and River Rafting & Tubing. Museum-lovers will appreciate Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Asti Lido 2000 Piscine (in Asti), Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, make a trip to Piazza Castello, and steep yourself in history at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

To find photos, more things to do, and more tourist information, read Turin trip itinerary website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. September in Turin sees daily highs of 69°F and lows of 58°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Mon) so you can travel back home.
