A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Get outdoors at Lake Orta and River Rafting & Tubing. Museum-lovers will appreciate Museo Egizio and Reggia Di Reale. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Cantina Fontechiara (in Borgomanero), Asti Lido 2000 Piscine (in Asti) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne).
