A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get outdoors at Lake Orta and River Rafting & Tubing. Museum-lovers will appreciate Museo Egizio and Reggia Di Reale. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Cantina Fontechiara (in Borgomanero), Asti Lido 2000 Piscine (in Asti) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, make a trip to Piazza Castello, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, and admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.

To find photos, more things to do, and more tourist information, read Turin trip itinerary website.
