Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, Piazza San Carlo, Quadrilatero Romano, and other attractions. Get some historical perspective at Basilica di Superga and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Galleria Sabauda. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Abbazia di Santa Maria di Vezzolano (in Albugnano) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's much more to do: admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, walk around Parco del Valentino, take an in-depth tour of Armeria Reale, and make a trip to Piazza Castello.

To find maps, other places to visit, ratings, and more tourist information, refer to the Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from Croatia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March in Turin, expect temperatures between 11°C during the day and 5°C at night. You will have some time to spend on the 14th (Tue) before leaving for home.
