Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museo Egizio and Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama) will appeal to museum buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Galleria Sabauda. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale), Cantina Fontechiara (in Borgomanero) and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso (in Aosta). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, admire the verdant scenery at Langhe landscapes, and admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.
