Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some historical perspective at Reggia Di Reale and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Galleria Sabauda. Venture out of the city with trips to Serravalle Designer Outlet (in Serravalle Scrivia), River Rafting & Tubing (in Morgex) and Castello di Fenis (in Fenis). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, contemplate the long history of Sacra di San Michele, and get to know the resident critters at Zoom Torino.

To see other places to visit, reviews, where to stay, and tourist information, use the Turin online holiday maker.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) so you can travel back home.
