A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Visit Basilica di Superga and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone for their historical value. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino), Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, and explore the ancient world of Teatro Romano.
