Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some cultural insight at Museo Egizio and Basilica di Superga. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato), Azienda Agricola But di Meistro Flavio (in Costigliole d'Asti) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, take in the spiritual surroundings of Parrocchia San Giovanni, take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino, and play a few rounds at Golf Colline del Gavi.

To see maps, reviews, photos, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin driving holiday planner.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
