Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Forte di Bard (in Bard) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, and admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in October, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 19th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
