Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Armeria Reale and Juventus Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Porta Praetoria (in Aosta), Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi) and Via Lattea (in Sauze d'Oulx). There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Museum of the Risorgimento, make a trip to Piazza Castello, examine the collection at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama), and explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 8°C in December, and nighttime lows around 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
