Turin — 4 nights
City of Magic
A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini and Centro storico. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Santuario della Nativita di Maria (in Vicoforte), Chiesa di San Marco Evangelista (in Rocca de Baldi) and Torre del Belvedere (in Mondovi). And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense, admire the striking features of Aosta Old Town, and get engrossed in the history at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove.
For more things to do, photos, other places to visit, and other tourist information, go to the Turin online trip itinerary planner.
If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in April, and nighttime lows around 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
