Turin — 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Santuario della Nativita di Maria and Castello della Manta. Appreciate the collections at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove and Museo Egizio. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Aosta (Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso & Criptoportico Forense), Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, take a stroll through Via Roma, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, and view the masterpieces at Galleria Sabauda.

For reviews, photos, traveler tips, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip itinerary planner.

November in Turin sees daily highs of 11°C and lows of 7°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
