Turin — 3 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Family-friendly places like Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema will thrill your kids. Step off the beaten path and head to Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso and Aosta Old Town. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Criptoportico Forense (in Aosta). There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in October, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
