Turin — 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Visiting River Rafting & Tubing and Lake Orta will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Castello di Fenis (in Fenis), Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Zoom Torino (in Cumiana). Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, and admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In August, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 20°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
