Turin — 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do your shopping at Via Roma and Reggia Di Reale. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Castello e Parco di Masino and Castello della Manta. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre), River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle) and Criptoportico Forense (in Aosta). And it doesn't end there: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, take in the spiritual surroundings of Santuario della Nativita di Maria, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, and step into the grandiose world of Castello di Issogne.

To see other places to visit, maps, reviews, and other tourist information, read Turin trip itinerary planning website.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
